Going With the Flow With Your Audience

I’ve tried rafting a couple of times. You jump into a raft with some strangers and go screaming down the river (loads of fun, BTW). You start at the top and your goal is to arrive somewhere down the river. How you actually get to that point is nearly impossible to plan in advance. There are so many waves, rocks and obstacles that you have to go with the flow and your instincts in order to reach your destination.

I don’t like walking through crowded streets, especially shopping streets. There is always someone desperately trying to scare me into buying something I don’t want. You know the type, street salespeople – “hustlers”. They are intrusive and rude.

Most brands and influencers I know are extremely focused on just getting people to click their links so that they get their traffic boost. They have the wrong focus.

What is native content?

One of the first apps on the Facebook platform was actually Twitter. It let you synchronize both platforms. So everything you posted on Facebook also got tweeted from your account. And vice versa. I used to love that.
